Cosa c'è dietro il GFYS?

Innanzitutto, cosa vuol dire GFYS?
Se seguite assiduamente Guri su Twitter, ve lo sarete chiesto già da un po'.
GFYS è una sigla che sta ad indicare Go F*ck YourSelf, per le meno pratiche in inglese tradotto sarebbe Vai a Farti F***ere.

Fatta questa breve premessa, finalmente Guri ha spiegato questo inside joke che si è creato sul set di Breaking Dawn:

" - Cos'è questo GFYS?
- Il GFYS è partito un giorno quando io e Noel tornavamo sul nostro camper dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro. Ognuno aveva la metà di questa roulotte e le nostre porte erano una di fronte all'altra. Al momento di aprire le porte, l'ho chiamato... "Hey Noel", mi ha guardato intensamente "Sì?"
Ed io, MOLTO casualmente: "Vai a farti f***ere!"
Mentre mi guardava shockato, me ne vado nella mia stanza e chiudo la porta. Lo ammetto, ho riso come un matto. La sua faccia non aveva prezzo.

Quindi, cosa potevo fare? Ho parlato con Kristen e con Rob per coinvolgerli in questo GFYS spontaneo per il resto della giornata di Noel. Erano abbastanza presi da questa cosa. Comunque, prima di saperlo, Robert era occupato tutto il giorno, e ho avuto paura che se ne fosse dimenticato. Oh, me e la mia fede nella stupidaggine di Rob. Come è tornato dal set al suo camper: "Noel, vai a farti f***ere!", l'ha detto molto casualmente, Noel l'ha guardato per un secondo, non credendo a quello che avesse sentito. Noel mi guarda. "Non ci credo a quello che hai fatto, simpatico!" ha detto. "Grazie, amico" rispondo. Ma non l'aveva ancora sentito da Kristen. E ora siamo richiamati sul set.
Nel momento in cui arrivo sul set, Kristen è pronta per la "cosa". Continua a guardarmi e mentre Noel non guarda mi fa segno "Adesso?" e io rispondo "Non ancora". Continuava a guardarmi ogni secondo, "Adesso" ed io "No, non ancora, l'ha appena fatto Rob". E mi dicevo: "Cavoli, vuole proprio mandare a quel paese Noel. L'avrà mica fatta arrabbiare? E' arrivato il momento di una pausa, e siamo tornati tutti sul set. Tranne Kristen. Non so se ci sia riuscita..."

E la storia continua... praticamente il GYFS diventa il tormentone per il resto delle riprese, e non solo!

Guri& Mackenzie :Chi è l'adulto qui?

When I first met Mackenzie, I knew she was special. What I didn't understand was how badly she could kick my a$$. Let me explain.

I met Mackenzie Foy in October, 2010 when some of the new cast in the Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn flew into Baton Rouge for some make-up/wardrobe screen tests and to discuss our roles with director, Bill Condon. While we were there, we got an invitation from the producers for a dinner party. Imagine our surprise when we show up and see Rob, Kristen, Stephenie, Ashley, Kellan, Nikki, Jackson...and Mackenzie.

Mackenzie and I bonded immediately. She has a lot in common with my wife - child actor (not anymore, obviously, but my wife was a child actor), a Scorpio, a martial artist and an ace student. And the ability to make me feel…very juvenile. I'll explain.

It started with the hand slapping. You know that game where one person lays their hands on the other persons hands and the person whose hands are on the bottom tries to slap and the person whose hands are on the top tries to avoid getting slapped? Well of course I lost. Whether I was the slapper or the slappee. And I lost…a lot. It drove me insane. How can I lose this game to a 10 year old girl? Where is my age advantage?

So, I keep challenging her. Over and over. To the point that she would sigh every time she saw me coming for more. People are thinking I have lost my mind. We're in between takes and I am running over to Mackenzie for a rematch. And losing. So, Mackenzie started feeling bad for me and introduced a new game - the staring game.

OK - I GOT this! I'm GOOD at this one! I just need to make sure she blinks first.

I mentioned she is a Scorpio, right? Right. So, I kept losing that one too. At this point, she pities me. Now, she's trying desperately to figure out a game I COULD win. She never did figure out a game I might win.

"Mr. Guri…I made you a picture.", she says.

"No "Mr.", Mackenzie. We're co-workers", I tell her.

She thinks for a second. She has been raised to respect adults…how does she handle me?

"OK…Dr. Guri", she smiles.

I dig that little chick.

The name stuck and for the rest of filming, she called me "Dr. Guri" and made me these amazing pictures that related to our times filming BD. In particular, when she knew I was going to quit smoking, she was my biggest champion on set for that and drew me a motivational picture that is on my fridge right now. I haven't quit yet but every time I walk into my kitchen, I get inspired all over again. If you're reading this, Mackenzie, I promise I'll get there.

She did have another name reserved for Noel Fisher and I - Salt 'n' Pepa. We would often sing pop songs on set in full wardrobe with our Romanian dialects and this delighted Mackenzie…a lot. I was relieved. Up until now, I was thinking I was boring her to tears.

And the cursing. As anyone on set can tell you, the adults were very partial to a few swear words. Mackenzie was unimpressed. I jokingly told her she should incorporate a cursing jar on set and make people pay up every time they cursed in front of her. She not only did it, she cleaned up. She's Bill Gates in a 10 year old's body.

I dig that little chick.

She was so professional and mature that she made every adult there want to be a better adult. Obviously, this is a huge credit to her amazing parents, who have done an extraordinary job raising such a gifted child. Most people don't understand what a child actor goes through over and above what a typical actor deals with on set. Their grades have to be kept up or they can't work. They have school time every day and often that time is broken up by filming, making it difficult to focus on either school or acting. They are often not respected as much as adult actors, despite having twice the workload. They are surrounded by crazy entertainment industry folks instead of friends and classmates. It aint easy…but she made it look easy. She was not only a straight A student but she had everyone's respect.

Watching her with Kristen and Rob was nothing short of beautiful. She fit right in. She deserves all the success heading her way and I feel honored to have worked with her.

Now, if I could only come up with a game I could win with her...

Guri ha conosciuto Mackenzie ad ottobre del 2O1O..sia lui che la moglie Tammy si sono trovati  bene con la piccola da subito..Come Mackenzie,anche la moglie di Guri è stata un'attrice bambina.Hanno iniziato a giocare..e Guri perdeva clamorosamente ogni partita..tanto che si è chiesto"Come faccio a perdere con una ragazzina di 1O anni??Dov'è il mio vantaggio per la differenza di età?!"

Ad un tratto lei gli dice: "Mr.Guri ho fatto una foto!" lui le risponde dicendo"Non chiamarmi Signore,Mackenzie.Siamo colleghi." Ci pensa su un attimo e poi dice"Ok..Dott.Guri". Le hanno insegnato ad essere rispettosa con gli adulti.Questo nome è rimasto per tutto il resto delle riprese.La bambina ha fatto questo disegno(Quello nella foto) pensando al periodo che hanno passato insieme durante le riprese di Breaking Dawn ma riferendosi soprattutto al periodo in cui Guri ha iniziato a smettere di fumare.(Non ha ancora smesso!).
Guri elogia molto Mackenzie dicendo che è sempre stata matura e indifferente alle parolacce degli attori..e si complimenta con i genitori per l'ottimo lavoro che hanno fatto con questa bambina così dotata..perchè non è facile essere attori bambini.Guardarla con Kristen e Robert è stato a dir poco stupendo..e Guri si sente molto onorato di aver lavorato con lei.

Guri parla di Robert Pattinson e Kristen Stewart su Twitter

Guri Weinberg ha risposto,su Twitter, alle domande che alcuni fans gli hanno fatto su Robert e Kristen. Alla domanda:"Com'è lavorare con la fenomenale Kristen Stewart?" ..Lui ha risposto: "INVREDIBILE!E' divertente,ha i piedi per terra ed è davvero una grande persona."

Mentre di Robert ha detto:"Rob è molto umile,molto modesto,molto ospitale e se gli dai l'opportunità è davvero divertente."






Beh..che dire..Guri ha sempre una parola gentile per tutti!!Deve comunque essere stata un'esperienza straordinaria lavorare con una delle coppie più amate del cinema..

Devo comunque avvertire che ci sarà un grave effetto collaterale..quando tutto sarà finito soffrirete di nostalgia acuta!!Vi sembrerà,ad esempio, di vedere gli attori che escono dal supermercato..continuerete a guardare le foto e i video che avete fatto..ma soprattutto entrerete in fase allarmante quando uscendo dal portone di casa..incontrerete la vicina vecchia e rimpiscatole..invece degli attori!!Vi lascio anche qualche fotina!!

Welcome nel primo blog italiano UFFICIALE dedicato a Guri Weinberg!!!

Mi chiamo Francesca, e il 9 giugno del 2O11 mi trovavo nella hall dell'Hotel Futura per la Twilight ItaCon2.. sapevo che Guri Weinberg sarebbe stato uno degli ospiti..ma non ne ero una vera fan ..finchè non me lo sono trovato davanti!Me ne stavo seduta sui divanetti a parlare con le mie amiche,quando la porta davanti a noi si apre..e i suoi occhi incrociano i miei..e io inizio a dire alle altre :"E' Guri..è Guriiiiiiiiii!!" loro mi guardano allibite e mi dicono :"Ma che dici??Non è Guri!E poi da cosa l'avresti capito??" e io rispondo : "E' luiiiiiii vi dico..l'ho riconosicuto dagli occhi!Solo lui ha quegli occhi così belli!"..dopo qualche minuto la mia intuizione viene confermata .. e io mi "innamoro" di lui..!!Nel corso dei giorni scopro anche che è una persona gentilissima,umile e riservata..e soprattutto è tremendamente innamorato della moglie (Tammy Lauren)..ne parla in quasi tutti i suoi discorsi e quando lei appare durante l'ultimo panel lui diventa viola..si legge perfettamente che li lega un'amore che si trova di rado di questi tempi..Come si fa a non adorare un uomo così??? Tornata a casa apro la pagina facebook Guri Weinberg Italia ..lui mi contatta dicendomi che ne è onorato e molto felice e che mi dà l'ok..rendendola,insieme al blog, UFFICIALE!Ne sono felicissima..e lui mi stupisce ancora lasciando un post nella bacheca dove saluta i suoi nuovi amici!!! Spero che seguirete me e le persone che mi aiuteranno sia qui che nella pagina Facebook..facciamogli sentire ancora come sono gli italiani!!! Vi ho brevemente raccontato come è entrato nella mia vita ..per aiutarvi a capire cosa mi motiva a fare questo! Parlando di Guri posso dirvi che è nato in Israele il 1 Agosto 1972 ed è sposato con Tammy Lauren..apparirà in The Twilight Saga :Breaking Dawn ..e nelle varie apparizioni ce n'è una particolarmente importante..nel film Munich del 2006 l'attore interpreta il padre,israeliano ucciso nel 1972 .. quando Guri aveva solo un mese e mezzo di vita.

My name is Francesca, and on June 9, 2O11 I was in the lobby of the Hotel Futura for Twilight ItaCon2 .. I knew that Guri Weinberg was one of the guests .. but I was not a true fan .. until I found the front! I was sitting on sofas talking with my friends, when the door opens before us. . and his eyes met mine .. and I start to say to the other: "It '.. is Guriiiiiiiiii Guri!" They looked at me astonished and say, "What do you mean? not Guri! And then you would have understood from what?" and I say: "'I tell you .. I luiiiiiii undetectable eyes! Only he has such beautiful eyes!" .. after a few minutes my intuition is confirmed .. and I "love" with him ..! During the day I discover that it is also a very kind person, humble and reserved .. and most importantly it is tremendously in love with the wife (Tammy Lauren) .. he speaks in almost every speech and when she appears in the last panel he turns purple .. well that reads love that binds them is rarely found these days .. How can you not adore a man like that?? Back home, I open my facebook page Guri Weinberg Italy .. he contacts me saying that he is honored and very happy and gives me the ok .. making it, along with the blog, OFFICIAL! I'm so happy .. and he still amazes me leaving a post to the board where greets his new friends! I hope that you will follow me and the people that will help me both here and in Facebook page .. let us make him feel more like the Italians! I have briefly described how it came into my life .. to help you understand what motivates me to do this! Speaking of Guri I can tell you that Israel was born in August 1, 1972 and is married to Tammy Lauren .. appear in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn .. and in different appearances, there is one very important film in Munich .. 2006 the actor plays the father, Israeli killed in 1972 .. Guri when he was only a month and a half of life.
